The SQUARE Show 2024

SQUARE 2024 will mark our 8th anniversary of this unique fundraiser. We plan to celebrate this event with original 6”x6” art made by our members, friends and local high school artists. Each SQUARE that is donated to the Art Alliance will be photographed and posted on Shopify for sale ($25 /ea.) to a wide audience of art lovers.
The media and subject matter of submitted work will show the range, talent and commitment to quality that this show has come to expect. Drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, ceramic tile, carved wood, fabric, mosaic and collage SQUAREs have all appeared in previous years.
Artists are asked to place signatures and optional titles on the back of the artwork only, so that buyers will focus on quality of idea and execution. The mystery of a “reverse side signature” helps make the event more fun for buyers and artists.
Our members have come to look at this 6″x6″ format as a challenge to their usual scale and manner of working. SQUARE offers a chance to try experimental ideas and materials in a size that promotes quicker than usual results. So get working!

Drop off of donated work: Thursday, October 17th (3-6pm)
Preview on Shopify: Wednesday October 30th through November 1st (6:00 pm – through Friday at 5:59 pm)
Opening for Sale: Friday, November 1 (6:00 pm)
Closing of Show/Sale: Saturday, November 9th (6:00 pm)
Pick-up of Purchased: Sunday November 10th through Tuesday November 12th
