Join Susan Nicholas Gephart, internationally recognized instructor and award winning painter who has been creating colorful, impressionistic paintings over fifty years. You will work in the medium of your choice and learn how to take your photos, plein air sketches, and studies and turn them into a successful studio painting. In this up-beat but relaxed Two-Day workshop, Susan welcomes all levels, and will inspire the beginner as well as the experienced painter. Susan is a seasoned plein air and studio painter that will lead you to your personal color expression. Each day will begin with a short inspirational demonstration designed to kick-start you into the creative spirit and explore new possibilities. Discover how to see beyond the obvious within the landscape, and use expressive color to capture the essence of mood and atmosphere in sky, water, and more. Whether you work in pastel, oil, watercolor, or acrylic, you will learn to see the depth of color and create a unique and personally expressive painting.
Susan is a Dedicated Workshop Instructor for Gamblin Oils, Jack Richeson art supplies, Sennelier, Multimedia Artboard, and has a Signature set of Richeson Hand-Rolled Soft Pastels.
