We were awarded “Green Business Partner” from Centre County Recycling and Refuse Authority for our Recycled Show.  This annual show inspires environmental and artistic goals for Central Pennsylvania artists. This is the 28th year of the show. Anni Matsick, show chair (pictured right), attended the organization’s award luncheon.

This is the week of the Recycled Show. Join us Friday 7–9:00pm at the Art Alliance Center for the show’s Opening Reception or see the show this Saturday and Sunday only from 1–4:00pm.

Centre County to Honor 28 Local Green Businesses, Schools and Organizations

College Township – The Centre County Recycling and Refuse Authority along with the Centre Region Council of Governments are holding an awards luncheon to honor 28 of our area’s best green businesses, schools and organizations.

Close to 75 area business owners, teachers, school administrators and employees, etc., will be present at the awards luncheon on Thursday, April 14, at 12:30pm in the Foxdale Village Auditorium. Our 2022 Green Business Partners will receive recognition for their efforts both in recycling and sustainability.

Our 2022 Emerald Award winners, Jabebo and The Village at Penn State Recycling Committee will address the crowd and there will be a photo and interview opportunity following the luncheon at 1:30 pm.

Local press is invited to attend and encouraged to promote the wonderful environmental efforts of our area businesses, schools and organizations.
