What is Centre Gives and how does it work, exactly?
Centre Gives is a time during the year when community members come together and support their favorite Centre County nonprofits. During Centre Gives, donations go further, thanks to the $300,000 stretch pool and an additional $40,000+ in prizes.
The more we raise during Centre Gives, the larger our portion of the stretch pools will be. Your donations through Centre Gives may also help us win additional prizes throughout the event, like during our Power Hour on May 10 between 12–1:00 pm!

One of the ways you increase your impact during Centre Gives is by giving with your IRA Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD).
When you give to nonprofits participating in Centre Gives, you’ll reduce the taxability of your IRA distribution while stretching your impact for those Centre County organizations.
