Acrylics II with Robert Placky 12-3 PM Thu

This class is recommended for seasoned artists and students who have taken Acrylic 101 and feel comfortable painting with acrylics. This class will focus on idea development using a theme while we survey three major art styles. Explorations in Realism, Abstraction and Surrealism will develop an approach to planning a final painting as well as evolve ways to advance your “artist voice”. The class will expand on ideas of context and metaphor as we investigate a central theme with critique and Critical Analysis in art. Students will work on several studies for idea development and produce a final Acrylic painting of their choosing. Our Zoom classes in the past have featured lively discussion and beneficial Art critiques.
