In this three-day workshop, we will focus on abstract painting achieved through a layering process and color interactions. We will use cold wax medium, tube oils, pigment sticks, and a variety of tools, exploring new ways to create textures, color fields, and mark-making. The focus of the workshop is on the process itself more than achieving a “finished” painting; we look into the possibilities of that process and how it can be incorporated in your individual artistic practice. This workshop is for Beginners through Advanced. Fee: $135 /materials fee $20
