Art Alliance Members Show 2024

The Members Show offers the opportunity for all Art Alliance members, regardless of their level of expertise, to show their work. The show will be split between June and July and held at KISH Bank Expect More Store on S. Allen St in State College.
We look forward to this double annual show featuring the work of our many talented members. Artists may select the month that they prefer on this form. We will have two shows of roughly equal number of works, each with the quality that has been our tradition.Â
 The entry form and non-refundable fee are due Friday, May 31, 2024.Â

SHOW DETAILS
 Entry Process and Fee
Artists must be Art Alliance members. Entry to the show is not juried and all entries will be accepted. Artists may submit one piece.Â
The entry form and non-refundable fee are due Friday, May 31, 2024.Â
Online payment is available at artallianceofcentralpa.org. Credit cards are accepted by phone but a signed entry form must be mailed to the office. The entry fee is $30.
Eligible WorkÂ
Each artist may submit one piece that has not received an award in any previous Art Alliance shows. All works must be original.Â
Prepare Your Artwork
PLEASE NOTE: The chair reserves the right to reject entries that do not meet these requirements and will have the final decision on how the work is displayed.Â
- Make sure work is securely wired and ready to hang.
- Wall hangings must be wired on back, no hooks.
- Poorly framed work, unframed work, clips,brackets, partial frames or wet work will not b eaccepted. Unframed stretched canvases are acceptable.
- Sides must be finished and have secured wiring
- All pieces under glass or plexiglass must beframed. 3-D work may not exceed 100lbs.
- The piece must be stable in its position and securely attached to its base.
- Artwork may not hang from the ceiling or exceed 4’x4′ in a wall hanging.
- 3D work must fitwithin a 2’x2′ pedestal.
- No frontal nudity
- Work must be properly labeled with artist’s name, title of the work, medium, price or NFS, framed dimension
Popular Vote Awards
This show is not juried but cash prizes will be awarded to the artists whose work receives the most votes. Visitors will be encouraged to cast in-person votes for their favorite artworks (one vote per visitor per half of the show, please) in the June half of the show and the July half of the show.Â
The artist whose work receives the most votes in each month will be awarded $100.
About Showing at KishÂ
The exhibition venue is the KISH Bank Expect More Store at 114 S. Allen St. and will be on display in June & July.Â
Artwork drop off & pick up will be at KISH Bank Expect More Store, 11:00am–1pm.Â
Commission on sold works by non-members is 30%.
