Students will learn to master light and shadow while creating illusions of 3D objects on paper. They will also delve into the emotive qualities of line and texture. Creating depth will be stressed but perspective will touched upon if participants feel comfortable. If time permits color and color theory will be touched upon. Plan to have pencils, paper and pens (ballpoint or gel) ready. We will go into more of the materials during the first class.
