About
India ink is an ancient drawing and painting medium that allows for high contrast, spontaneity, and experimentation. Three projects: portrait, landscape, and abstract, will be the playground to learn and practice techniques and concepts introduced in class.

Supply List
- Images, objects, inspiration reference material (for portrait, landscape, abstract)
- Paper to paint on (smooth water color paper or Bristol, 11”x14”)
- Paint brushes (a few assorted craft, watercolor, hardware store scruffy brushes)
- Pens with nibs, and/or a glass pen
- Viva paper towels
- X-acto knife
- Washi tape (MT Kamoi paper 15mmx10m roll)
