Come and have fun learning to paint with a palette knife. The textures and colors possible are a delight for the soul! Although she will be concentrating on painting landscapes, any subject is possible. She will encourage students most of all to “play” and let go of the idea of everything having to be a masterpiece. Many times LESS is MORE. In each class there will be demonstrations and lots of one on one instruction. She will teach specifically about the importance of composition and design; using color theory to bring your painting to life; and the general process of painting a landscape, working from large to small shapes. This workshop is suitable for experienced beginners to advanced painters.
