Join Instructor Ann Taylor-Schmidt for this exploration of the Mokume Gane technique in polymer clay and in basic jewelry making techniques.
This workshop is designed for teens ages 13 through 17.
This is a two-day workshop on 4/6 (day one) and 4/20 (day two) from 10am-12pm.
Through the art of layering you can design your own unique array of items including jewelry and trinket boxes.
Ann will share techniques like the right way to open and close a jump ring, use a one-step looper, or make an adjustable cord necklace, along with a favorite clay technique of stacking layers of clay, impressing it and then shaving it to reveal magical patterns.
The first class on 4/6 will be all the polymer clay creations, modeling, and forming. Ann will cure the clay after the first class. The second class on 4/20 will focus on finishing pieces.
