Instructor: Julia Nelson, [email protected]
Are you looking for an opportunity to explore the art materials you work with? What does a calligraphy pen really do? What was it invented for? Can you use a 6B pencil for watercolor wash? When is it better to use a charcoal stick? Participants will be given a supply list that includes materials you might already have. In each two hour class, we will attempt a finished drawing but emphasize experimenting and exploration.
This class is intended for teen age students, ages 13–18 and students in middle grades (11–13) who are serious about their art making are encouraged to sign up.
