Exhibiting at KISH Bank Expect More Store November 3–28 is needle-felted fiber artist, Kari Roslund.
I am a fiber artist drawn to capturing the wonders of nature. I enjoy the process of layering a variety of materials such as wool, silk, wire, wood, and paper to create a captured place or moment. As I introduce the viewer to the tactilely enticing juxtaposition of various textures, I invite them to examine subtly, yet delicate details found only when we stop and ponder.
—Kari Roslund
Join Kari to celebrate the opening of her show Friday, November 4 from 5:30–7:30 pm. Snacks and drinks are generously provided by KISH Bank. Kari’s exhibition is also included in State College’s First Friday events.
