Tom’s show, Landscapes, will be on display at the Kish Bank Expect More Store located at 114 South Allen Street in State College from Friday, January 28 until February 26.
Tom Rosenow is a Pennsylvania-born fine artist who graduated from Penn State with a BFA in 2020. Since then he’s exhibited works at the Bellefonte Art Museum and participated in group shows at the Art Alliance of Central PA.
Tom works primarily in oil paints and has most recently been working on a series of local landscapes depicting scenes from all across central Pennsylvania. These function as a way to connect with both the environment he lives in as well as with the other people living there. Oftentimes Tom paints directly from life, “on location” as a way to further that connection and fully absorb the atmosphere of the places he is recreating.
