You Are Invited to Opening Night for the Figurative Show!

The Figurative Show showcases artworks of the human figure by Central Pennsylvania artists.

Join us to celebrate the opening of this show 7–9:00 pm at our studio center in Lemont. Find out which artworks win first, second, and third places, and those with honorable mentions. Hear from juror Steve Getz about the awarded artworks and mingle with the artists.

Tribute to Mary Cady Rubinstein

This year’s show is a tribute to Mary Cady Rubinstein, a member and former instructor at the Art Alliance who died December 13, 2021. Mary was an award winning sculptor, printmaker, innovator and a fixture in the Central Pennsylvania art community for six decades. Many art students benefited from the life drawing and sculpture classes she taught over a span of more than 20 years at our Art Center in Lemont. Some of Mary’s figurative work will be on display during the show.

The Figurative Show will be on display at the Art Alliance March 10–19. This event is free and open to the public. The gallery hours are:

  • 1–4:00 pm Saturday, March 11 – Sunday, March 12
  • 1–4:00 pm Thursday, March 16 – Sunday, March 19
