You are invited to the Opening Reception of the Recycled Show this Friday, March 3! The Recycled Show is an opportunity for artists to express their concern for the environment and the importance of recycling programs like we are fortunate to have in Centre County.
Traditionally exhibited in our Art Center for 10 days, we are excited to bring this show to downtown State College for the entire month of March.
Come see how the artists interpreted the theme “Make it Work!” with random items from their attic, garage, basement, or who knows where!
Join us to celebrate the opening of this show 5:30–7:30 pm at KISH Bank Expect More Store on S. Allen St. Find out which artworks win first, second, and third places, and those with honorable mentions. Hear from juror and 3-time Recycled Show award winner, Gloria Plosky Scaltz about the awarded artworks and mingle with the artists.
KISH Bank will validate parking in downtown parking garages.

Juror: Gloria Plosky Scaltz
Gloria Plosky Scaltz attended Pennsylvania State University studying art and art education. She taught art in the State College elementary schools for thirty-nine years. Making art for most of her life, her main focus is collage and assemblage. She searches the internet, antique shops, and even parking lots for interesting bits of rust, stone, and wood. Now retired, her days are filled with recycling her finds into visual stories. Gloria is a three-time award winner in past Recycled Shows.
