Drawing Fundamentals

This four week class is an introduction to the fundamentals of drawing. We will explore all the tools of drawing such as: charcoal, graphite, conte and pen and ink. We'll look at examples of the finest drawings ever made by great artists throughout history. We will talk about mark-making, contour lines, negative space and shading. We will also begin to discuss perspective, proportions and how to convey volume using light and shadow.
