About the Show
The Recycled Art Show is in its 28th year of inspiring environmental and artistic goals for Central Pennsylvania artists. Entry is not juried and is open to artists of all ages. This is an opportunity for artists to express their concern for the environment and the importance of recycling programs like the one we are fortunate to have in Centre County. We invite you to search your garage, basement, and attic and find interesting materials to create an entry for this exciting show!

Each artist may submit two pieces. The entry form and non-refundable fee are due by Thursday, April 14, 2022. To the enter the show:
- Fill out the online form and
- Pay the entry fee through our registration system
Alternatively, paper forms and checks may be mailed to the Art Alliance office. Credit cards are accepted by phone only if a printed entry form is mailed to the office.
Eligible Work

Artists should include a short statement about how their works align with the show’s theme. Collaborations are welcome.

Peter Frantz, Juror
Peter Frantz attended the University of Notre Dame studying engineering before matriculating at Goddard College, earning a degree in design and social ecology/sustainability. He attained his Master of Fine Arts degree from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia. He has been a professional artist, writer, and educator his entire adult life. As a practicing artist, his three-dimensional art employs multiple man-made and natural materials in combination with video, light, and sound. He uses art as means of discovery of the authenticity of personal identity, the stories and myths that surround it, and our ability to use art in the cause of social justice.
Prizes
Cash prizes, generously sponsored by Joe Krentzman & Son, for 1st ($200), 2nd ($150), and 3rd ($100) place will be awarded at the Opening Reception Friday, April 22. Honorable Mention awards will be given to other notable works.
