How You Can Volunteer
As a non-profit organization with a small paid staff the Art Alliance depends on volunteers to maintain our building, assist with office work, and raise funds to help make our programs available to artists, students, and art-lovers. Help is needed in the following areas:
Building
Interior: painting, organizing materials, washing windows, and minor repairs
Exterior: spring and fall clean up of landscaping, weeding, changing plants in window boxes each season, and washing windows
Special Events
Such as fundraising event, which may include planning a venue, entertainment, refreshments, silent auction, etc.
Administrative
We could use office assistance to help with mailings, copying, and other similar office work.
Exhibitions
Volunteers are needed to assist with receiving and returning art work before and after exhibitions. Also to plan and staff opening receptions for exhibitions.
