Introduction to Printmaking Workshop- Linocut

This 3 hour workshop is a wonderful opportunity to learn the basics of printmaking. You will learn various techniques to carve and create prints using 4 x 6 inch rubber carving blanks.

The workshop is a  will consist of:

Choosing a design 
Transferring your design to the block
Carving the block
Inking and burnishing techniques
Creating your final print/s

You will be making several prints during the process and they are all yours to take at the end of this workshop. 

*Please note that while all safety measures will be taken, the carving tools do have a sharp end. As such, minor cuts are possible if proper care and technique are not followed. Attendees understand and assume this risk by signing up for this class.
